In my opinion meaning its my own thoughts it would be:

4: A.c. Milan.
3: Real madrid
2: Man united ( and im a liverpool fan saying that so no bias at all)
1: Barcelona

Simple as that )

and why is that?

Real has better players IRL
Barca is overrated Dos Santos and Bojan are overrated hard
they don't even raise up to the standards in La Liga
and Henry look at Henry in IRL at Barca how many goals has he scored?
Real has more money IRL too so can please somebody tell me why Barca has more money in FM than Real?? while Real is topping the charts in IRL alongside with MUFC

and in FM08 things are quite balanced but Real wins because

Casillas better than Valdes
Ramos Canavarro Pepe better than Puyol Abidal Zambrotta

Midfield is equal and Attack is slightly better for Barca so Real wins

I'm a Valencia fan so things are not so good for me at the moment. We are leakier than a leaky leak at the back. I just don't understand our tactics at the moment.

But as for your argument about who is best - Barca or Real ....

In the game, Barca is better than Real - no doubt, however in real life the league doesn't lie. Real are currently better.

However I must disagree with your statement about attack being slightly better for Barca. When we play Barca, I have less fear for the likes of Ronaldinho, Messi and Henry than I do for Raul, Van Nistelrooy, Guti, etc.

The difference between the teams in real life is the fact that Real has real finishers. Eto'o can be better than most on his day, but Van Nis, Raul, and Guti are much more consistent don't you think?

So, my impartial view is that Goalkeepers and defences and midfield is quite equal between the teams, but Real has better finishers.

So, back to the FM game ..... I think the reason Barca is better in the game than Real is that in the game, nobody can finish one-on-ones anyway, and the game suits attacking midfielders more than any other position so Barca wins.

But enough from me. I've got my own worries, both as a fan of Valencia in real life and as its manager in the game.

Oh come on Liverpool's the easiest team to choose if you want league success.

Spoiler:

1st- Real Madrid

Real Madrid is the best club in the world.Do I need to say more?Yes!The goalkeeper is Saint Iker Casillas absolute awesome player,no goalkeeper can keep the pace with Casillas so Dudek is far from him,but if you have Casillas you don't need something else.If you have Casillas in a good day, even the aliens can't penetrate his goal.
Defenders,defenders,defenders...This is the big problem for Real Madrid since Fernando Hierro retired. But these years the defence improved. We have Sergio Ramos who im my opinion is the best right-back(he can play centre too),Canavarro,Metzelder,Pepe,Marcelo,Drenthe,Torr es,Salgado form a very goo mixture of defenders.Metzelder and Pepe,Canavarro are rock solid in defence, but their problem is that they make many fouls.Torres is the jolly joker in defence,he plays in every position and that is a very good thing because if 1 of the defenders is suspended or injured you can easily replace him with Torres but be careful Torres may keep that on the fringe.

Midfielders are very good in Real Madrid squad. We have Robben and Sneijder as versatile players they can play in the right or the left and Sneijder plays in the centre too.So the wingers are magnificent they have pace, dribbling and sizzling moves that can provide assists or goals.I reckon Sneijder is a very good long-shot taker. As holding midfielders we have Diarra and Gago. They are good but they can't compare with Fernando Redondo...Gago is better as a DMC than Diarra so they need to work harder there.
As a playmaker you can play Guti,Baptista,or Raul.Guti is really awesome in that position but he is getting old like Raul but still the quality is world class.
Strikers have always been the match winners for Real.Van Nistelrooy adapted very well in this squad and Robinho who plays as a second striker or winger is quite what Real needs upfront, with Raul who can play as a striker or behind the strikers with Guti as a playmaker or as a simple centre midfielder, they rock.

Goalkeeping 10/10
Defence 9/10
Midfield 9/10
Attack 10/10
Overall 38/40

Dude, will you stop loading up the thread with your rambling of how good Real is ffs! The guy who started this thread said at the beginning that its based of HIS evaluation. Stop trying to force your silly notions on others.

And who says Real Madrid are the best in the world? I'm an Arsenal fan and even I dont have ANY hesistancy to say that the Man Utd are playing at the moment, they'll rip Real Madrid apart by atleast 3 goals. Your defense IRL is a joke, Ramos & Casillas being the only saving grace. And Ramos is so much better at CB too. Puyol is MUCH better than Cannavaro, Abidal is MUCH better than any of Marcelo, Torres or Drenthe (whose talent the club is going to ruin imo!) and Zambrotta is one of the best RB's in the world. The attack is undoubtedly good but nothing to swoon about.

And the fact that you say Bojan is over-rated shows that you either dont watch Barcelona play or you dont understand football. Take your pick.

Saying that, Real are doing great in the league no doubt. And they'll probably win the league easily enough too. But first lets see you win the Champions League again this season before you can actually argue about them being the best in the world.

In the meantime, stop buggering this thread up ffs! I'm sorry I did it with this post but somebody had to set the record straight.

You said it yourself. You really dont. Glad to see you finally talk sense. Nice one dude.

As for the sad counter, I'm not even bother arguing with or wasting any more space on this thread (except this!) with someone who has as little grasp of football as you and pretends to know it all because he's played Football Manager. "how many goals has bojan(striker) scored in La Liga?".. that statement of yours says it all really.

Now, if you have any ounce of dignity left, I implore you to call upon it and leave this thread well alone unless you have something half-decent to contribute to it.

As for me, firstly apologies to everyone else reading this thread for cluttering it up further and secondly, I'm definitely done with you.
