I remember one time when i was playing in the German First Division and my keeper recieved the ball just outside his penalty area. And with the 2d you could see the opposition keeper on the edge of his penalty box too...what happened?? Well my keeper put a long ball up field which went straight over the opposition keeper's head and in!! Now that may be unrealistic but its one of the funniest things i have seen in CM!
My point 2d view may not be perfect but it can be entertaining

I agree at least they're stepping in the right direction, combine that with a great commentary patch and the game does get a lot more entertaining than just reading the text
Let me guess... You two played CM 4 as your first version, didn't you?
Text-only match was probably more descriptive, than 2D engine before CM 4. In later versions, descriptions, became more and more unimaginative and told you nothing.

Actually no i havent ever played CM 4. The first CM i played was 01/02...so no . I just think that 2d will be the way of the future and it needs our support now so it can be made better and less frustrating

this is ahppened to me a few times with 4.15, once the keeper was actaully well within his own penalty area when he scored. i've also had a defender socre for me from inside ihis own half in a CPL semi-final
it is silly but hugely amusing. yes there are faults with the 2D view but i can certainly live with them.
it is tactical problems and the over-ratedness of "certain" attributes that really eggs my guff

Seconded... Why can't my not pacey but excellent defender mark a man who has no technique, no flair, no knowledge of off ball situations and who does not know a thing about being a stricker is beyond my understanding of reality???
