Hmm. Interesting word in that it looks like it ought to mean a painful operation involving a delicate part of a male emu-like bird. |

Perhaps that's why it took people so long (or has it been not at all?) to respond to your pish taking attempt? Some of us don't sit here waiting in anticipation for the next post. Okay, so some of us do... |

Is Stockport counted as LLM out of interest? I normally manage Swindon, and was wondering if I classed as LLM - I play it the LLM way....

The guide for starting LLM in england is a bit like this
Conference - Yes
3rd Div - Yes, but with some restrictions
2nd Div - Pushing it
1st Div - You're having a laugh IMO, I only start as teams in the Conference. If you have started off at a small team and earnt a job as Stockport manager, why would it not be LLM? Realism is LLM!

Damn so when Swindon get promotion to Division One I'll be banished from here! I only enjoy CM when I'm with my team - CM03/04 is too complicated to play without having to learn all the players and staff!

No, it's for starting club.
Several LLaMas have won the Premiership with their club, whilst still playing the LLaMa way.
Others have even taken bigger jobs (Liverpool , anyone? ) when they were offered. As Craig said it's about realism.

It's fine to work your way up... its where you start that matters.
Hell, we all want to win the EPL or the Champions League.
LLM doesn't mean you have to stay in the lower leagues forever, its how you play the game!

I wonder if any manger has ever stayed in the lower leagues by choice IRL?
I can see it now, "sorry Mr. Chairman, but now I've got you promoted to Div 1 I'm going to have to quit and start again at one of the conference new boys. It's so much more real down there" |

Strangely enough I've won the Champ League (with an English club) without ever having won the EPL in any game.

Want to win the EPL and CL? I want to survive the Conference relegation battle. |
