I'm surprised no one has really done this for 03/04/. The Dugout used to have league guides for a number of leagues, and they included how the various competitions worked in them. But I don't know if they still have them or if they were updated because I never thought it was a "good" site.

I think someone planned something like this. The rules for each country, but it fell apart.
That's a good idea. Stick that post about the Spanish league strucutre someone made yesterday in it while you're there, that's the sort of thing we need.
Sounds suspiciously like the exotic and obscure leahue rules thread I started up last week. Weel I thought this was a good idea last week, and I still do. I will be looking forward to everyone's contributions, and as I am just starting in a 2nd division Czech league, I will be happy to contribute what I learn about the wonderful world of Bohemian football!
Asking and Contributing league rules for different countries? Go for it. However, I think there should be a format that everyone can stick too. For example, Name of Country, what divisions apply, how many foreigners can be used in league games, subs etc. Then the cups in that country and the rules for those.
Would it also only apply to the lowest league in that country or all leagues?
I suggest something like this.
Country Name: England
League: Conference
League Rules: 22 Teams, 3 Relegation positions, 1 Automatic Promotion position, 4 playoff places. Playoff: 2nd play 5th 3rd play 4th. Winner of the two matches play eachother in the final. Winner is promoted. 5 substitiues only. Only 3 Non Eu players can be in the team (Is it 3?).
Cups: FA Cup, FA Trophy, LDV Vans Trophy
FA Cup: Conference clubs enter at the 4th qualifying round. Winners of this match will go into the 1st round draw. And will progress into the next round if they win that match. 5 Substitues allowed. Only 3 Non EU players allowed in the team.
