National Division 3 2004:

Well... as hinted at we started well... damn well, sitting 2nd at one stage approaching halfway but then injuries hit and took their toll. Our defence fell apart in the run home and we slipped to finish an incredulous 15th out of 28. I'm quite disappointed as we were equal top scorer with 57 goals in 27 matches, but we conceded 54. 5th worst defence.

As reported previously only 3 of my loan signings could become permanent due to financial woes. This means I am going to have to be active in the loan market before the next season or we'll struggle to keep up the same level of performance.

On a promising note one of my young midfielders made some impressive appearances in the first team and looks a great prospect.

Santa Catarina State League 2005:
We were solid in the league this season without being dominant, and a loss to Joinville on the final day saw them pip us for top spot going into the playoffs.
We won a tight semi-final contest with Figueirense 4-3 on aggregate and moved on to face Joinville in the final. We managed a 1-1 at home in the first leg, but we were never in the return leg, going 2-0 down before halftime. Oh well, 2nd place is not so bad.

The promising midfielder from last season has again played well and is starting to cement a regular spot. 2 new youngsters (F LC and D/M L) were promoted from the reserves and were sensational. They are likely to play a lot of games in the new ND2 season. (Who said you can never find a left back? )

My record of only 2 cup games per year is intact
