Can you manage a national side and resign from your club committment? And if you can do you get job offers from clubs a la Eriksson?
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
Personally if I got the chance to manage a country, it would come down to a Club v Country decision. I couldn't be both with a clear conscience.
The majority of the time I set my nationality to the league in which I am playing, but in my present game I made an exception as I had the idea of managing the Australian side at some stage in the future. Now if only I had added the league to the game.
I've always played my games as an island hopping manager, jumping from club to club trying to rise to the top but this has changed with CM0304. Being an upside-down nationality has slowed the number of clubs approaching me, but since last season I have knocked back four offers, after only getting one in the previous seven or so seasons.
It is natural to get more offers as your reputation grows, but getting offers from other higher division clubs while still in your first season is just plain stupid. I just don't know which of these offers is "legitimate", and so far none of them have been IMHO.

And Bruce here is in charge of the sheep dip. Post #12
The one and only time I have used my real name is in my present game...I always find an exotic foreign name which is in line with the country I am in. Find a side, pick the goalie's first name, find another side, pick the goalies second name is way I have created my managerial name since CM99/00 days.
