Right after lurking around this board for the past few months, I decided to get my feet wet so to speak and try conference management the LLM way.
While it is enjoyable and rather tough following the 'rules', I've managed to get through a few seasons and finally earn promotion to div 3.
Anyway, down to the point, I sent my scout out to find youth players assuming he would find some young British talent, but he seems to be picking up French, Italian, Indian, Swedish, etc players. I was wondering, what is the LLM guideline on this? I assumed SWYCT meant that these players were taboo, but unless my scout has got millions of free airmiles tucked away somewhere, I can't see any way he could find these players.
It's one of those "play as you feel right" moments, Stephen.
The bottom line with LLM is to sign who your Scouts recommend, but as you say it's unlikely that a 3rd Division Scout would go to Central Europe - especially when he's been asked to Scout UK and Ireland - but there's no limit on Youth Searches apparently.
After that mouthful, I'd probably not sign the foreign youngsters, but they were found by your Scout so fit in with the LLM Spirit as written.
