I've not noticed it at all really, Ian.
I use more or less the same tactics all the time (being a purist who has a very set ideal on how the game should be played - simply) with maybe a different formation or a tweak now and again depending on squad strengths, but I still return to "old faithful" one I have moulded the squad in my own image.
Supergoalies have been less apparent to me in 03/04 than any other CM I've played (which is back to CM2). Ocassionally I come up against a good GK, but I've not really seen one that jumped out as a supergoalie like before.
I tend to find in this version that if I dominate a game without scoring, it's because I have a high ratio of off-target shots.
Regarding Kostis' comment on Jordi's GK in the Iberian clan, yes he is good, especially for Div2BSouth, so we tease him about a supergoalie, but it certainly doesn't seem the same as in the other versions to me.

The formation stays the same, as i usually don't have enough players and/or tactical knowledge to constantly switch between them. Mentality, personal instructions, players, you name it, i change it. Not that it makes any difference at the end of the day.
For me, a superkeeper means something's wrong with my tactic, so i stick with it in order to sort it out.

This isn't about supergoalies per se, in that it's not like...the Greeks in the last CM3's, or the Swede before that, or the Scottish bloke, it's about below average keepers raising their game to play against you week in week out.
Since we beat Deportivo 4-1 in the CL we've played 11 games, won 3 drawn 5 and lost three. 8 games the goalie has been MoM (one of our victories, btw), we've had 191 shots on goal, 111 on target and scored 13.
That's not right.
Another strange occurrence is the number of shots that hit the woodwork, and the number of multiple saves the keepers make.
It's at the stage now where I'm playing the game to see how often the goalies out-perform themselves as opposed to enjoying the game.

It will pass, Ian. It goes through spurts, in my experience. Just concentrate on increasing your odds of scoring in a game and the goals will come.
As you know though, superkeepers will always have their place in CM, you just got to endure through it.

I have to say again that my online keeper is crap compared to the ones I have offline... It's just a matter of individual instructions as I've constantly said [/tipping] :p
As for the other Gk getting MoM... well, usually it's my Gk or my DMC or my FL/C who gets that |

I haven't noticed that in 03/04 Ian. I find midfielders and strikers get a lot of MoM for me, but defenders rarely do unlike 01/02 when they used to get a few.

Sorry Ian. Can't say that I've seen this, and I only ever have two formations - one for home and one for away :443 left sided sweeper:

Notice it? Notice it?
I think it was my keeper in the clan who did it to you at least once...and he does perform exceedingly well from time to time. I'll check his MoM info.
I've seen sproadically otherwise. Stop dominating possession! That's a solution .

I cannot really remember my keepers getting that many MOMs. Also, my team do not seem to dominate, dominated maybe, but never dominate. |

I have experienced this extremely irritating phenomenon, Iajafer. It tends to be more prevalent when I'm playing in a game with others, for some reason. The annoyance factor is always cranked up by the fact that in the preceding games the MoM keeper has been a shining example of mediocrity. I agree with your points about the "superkeepers" in previous games - those freaks are not the culprits here.
For me, the keepers getting MoM tend to be in games where I get more shots on target than I normally do. Dunno if its an AI thing to counter the possibility of silly scores popping up - frankly, I don't want to know.
Just grin and bear it, swear a bit, and carry on drinkin'.
