Tipping!
But seriously, you can't back down now, when times are dodgy, just like you star players knees its best to keep in mind the classic "its a marathon, not a sprint", or perhaps, "good things come to those who wait". Be patient, and remember, your a llama now so enjoy the challenge of the doldrums!
[Edit: get those quotes working properly]

So you are in the poo with the Club? Made yourself a nice challenge have you? You are in LLaMa heaven.

I'm not in the 'poo' yet (don't know what the word means, but guess it's something stinky ).
The worst thing is that the game is spoiled with some non-LLM actions. And thus i don't like it in it's current state. I'm not sure whether playing Telford is a challenge itself (despite 1 to 50 chances to win Conference), but that's another question. Maybe that half-a-season run would stand for a sort of 'game-feelings-recovery', but nothing more. Yet now i do know what things should i avoid.

quote:

Don't do the "New Game". Carry on with the old one. That's the LLaMa way. Like Taips said, you made yourself a good challenge there. It is to be enjoyed.

Again, it's not like 'whoops, we've lost to DarkForest WoodCutters, me is a crap manager, me screwed things up, me clicks 'Load game' and tries again' Even one such (and many of-the-like) action could well be a root of many problems, mostly gameplay-related.
I always (and there's nothing to hide) wondered how one can be at a club and enjoy just running the club. And i only hope that i could do that too.
- LLaMouse.

I may not be an experienced LLaMa yet, but it is apparent revieing this thread that you are just not enjoying the game. We all bought CM to have fun, not necessarily to have a stoic, character building journey of self discovery. My feeling is if you will enjoy another game after hitting the new game button, do it. No need for you to feel that playing this particular save is a chore.
So go out and have some fun, be it with Telford or wherever the great LLaMa sends you.

Bah! lightweights the lot of you.
Sometimes, I never had a chance at building my team. Do the honourable thing. Either jump ship or stay till your sacked. You know it makes sense. |

Since when did enjoyment come in to LLM. Keep your own lash beside you when playing and whip yourself as soon as you start enjoying yourself.
Do as the best LLaMas do, strap yourself into an ill fitting basque and fishnets and keep on hurting youreslf.
Play up and play the game!.

Well, thank you all and everyone!
Actually, i tried to start a new game. But, due to my strange habit to run all the leagues since CM 98/99, i've had enough time to think. And guess what? Yes, you're right! As Yaipan, jcb23, ISKRA and many other said, i came to thought that it's not worth a LLaMa (even Mouse ) to leave his team in times of trouble. And then i came back. And, as it turns to be, the decision proved to be right. See update thread for details
