Anyway, scouts do not seem to work very well in the CM4 series. I have tried searching for specific players and it takes a while to get back to me. How long have you been waiting?
Are you scouts on separate scouting assignments already? Sometimes the reports won't come back until they've stopped that I've noticed. Or when they become "available" to go watch that player. Eventually, a report will come. It can take a while.
I try and keep my scouts on the job as much as I can, even if it means missing out on specific player reports. Sooner or later I'll forget to reassign one of them and I'll get a report anyway. Just a matter of time.
Something I get from time to time is I'll ask for a player to be scouted and I get a report after a while, but the player's attribs are still hidden. The scout says decent, but doesn't tell me anything about him. Is this because the player hasn't played lately? If not, then why would my scout say decent signing? Anyone else get this or know how I can avoid that result?
That one is a bug, but seamus is right about the scouts not doing indivdual players if they have a current assignment. Which is only a bug when they've clearly been scouting teams/matches that they could have assesed the requested playerin but don't.
