Player quality deterioration in career games?

There may be a general drop in the quality of players although this seems minimal.

The problem actaully works the other way though. Many of the regens have fantastic physical stats and we know how ovveratted they are by the match engine. Add to this the fact that the AI fields teams of old men - a 42 year old Dropsy still at Man Utd, a 38 year old bloke still at Arsenal etc...

It means that the regens actaully perform much, much better than their forfathers...

There seems to be plenty of good regens, in fact they are quite often overated. I often see young regens sometimes as young as 14 who are already playing for teams and who seem to start of with tremendous abilities. I think sometimes regens of good players start with their abilities too high for thier corresponding age.

A 2 month warning is a bit tunfair, I've never player named before and it was a momentary lapse
