Hi guys, am new to these forums and thought I'd add this anomoly I saw last night.
I have an Egyptian player playing for me (Hibs) in Scotland and he is homesick I gave him an allowance of leave while the players where on their end of season break.
I would have thought that during an end of season break as a player you should be allowed (and be smart enough) to do anything you like such as go back to your home country for a break so you dont interfere with fixtures if you remain homesick and need to go home during the season.
Obviously this fella needed to be told to go home on his holidays.

ah but if you send him home, i always thought the club paid it, so think about it IRL, Hibs send a player home, they pay his travel cost, now a flight to Egypt I'm pretty sure would cost a little, so techincally the boy would have saved himself a fair bit, but in the game its normal to have to send them home on leave for this mate
Hmm didnt think about the club financing his leave, but it doesnt actually say that they go back to the home country does it? to me as it says 'allow leave of absence' or something to that effect that they just are not required to have to turn up to training for next few weeks maybe take some more time practicing new language or something and sort themselves out mentally, and the fact the squad is on an end of season break I would have thought the leave of absence and end of season break would have the same effect on a player IRL.
The idea of the club paying for it makes a bit of sense, but I still think that end of season break should have similar effects to players mentally and physically to leave of absence.
