Yes.
I'm Spurs in the Championship.
It's 2021.
I signed a great 23-year-old South Korean centre-back for £3.3m.
He's doing the business, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be as good if I get promoted.
Got about 30 caps for his country too.
I'm in 2020, having spent 9 years at Nottingham Forest, and a couple of years at A.C Milan. I'm now at Espanyol, who have become one of the biggest clubs in the world.
At the moment - November 2020 - three of the best players in the world are African!
One guy is a Zambian centre-back, with a PA of 193 and a CA of 186.
Another is from the well known footballing giant, Gabon - he is a striker with a PA of 190 and a CA of 184.
The last one is from Turks & Caicos Islands - he's the best right back in the world and has a PA of 197 and a CA of 190.
I've found that the only africans with passable ability i get regened, come through french clubs. But in the past i have seen a few decent players, and my mate has several from saudi.
They sometimes have good ones but it's hard to get work permits for some of them.
I found a Saudi Arabian player who had a current ability of 163, worth £500,000. Absolute bargain. Nobody had been scouting him besides Murcia and I (Xerez), and I had to bid once Murcia threw in a bid. I can outbid just about any team in Spain besides possibly Barcelona at the moment so had no problems getting him.
On the other hand, now I have to figure out how to fit him in with a Brazilian/Spaniard, a Bosnian, an Italian, a Norwegian, an Argentine and a Nicaraguan. Yeah, even though I'm Spanish, I can't find any good cheap Spanish strikers...
Other useful areas to look at are the lesser nations of South America, especially if you are in Spain or Portugal (no need to worry about work permits that much). Peru and Colombia seem to produce some decent players out there, including one I forgot to renew a contract with, in another game, he's now worth £16.5 million pounds.
1) I try to get the same guy to do them all. Takes a while. Year and a half maybe. And you don't find many players. But if you've got plenty of scouts, then why not. Only useful if you're a top club though.
2) Again, I try to do them all, but only if I have plenty of scouts. Otherwise it's pointless. Don't want my guys wasting their time, when they're only fine one half-decent player (if any at all)
3) Large (Plus Croatia, Argentina, Ivory Coast DDTs)
While there are "good" regens coming from African and asian nations, I don't think there are enough "decent" regens coming through. In my game I retained all players from the top 15 or so African countries and yet in 2016 every African squad is made up of a bunch of 34 year old players and 1 or 2 really good regens. There appears to be a gap that is not filled by the "decent" players who should over the course of their careers pick up between 10-30 CAPS.
At the rate it's going when the old players retire all the African teams, despite me having retained their entire nations, will be made up of 1 or too world class players and many 3rd division quality players rather than the situation as it is at the beginning of the game with 1 or 2 world class players and many French/German Premier division level players.

thats one reason why the old reincarnation system was good. changing the nationality of a retired zidane, for example, would be the only thing i'd suggest for this system. i liked finding estonian or latvian superstars in older games, adds authenticity.
