ironically, stevie g is still at (a relegated) liverpool in 2011. i play him as an AMC, and his ratings are much, much lower in CM or DM, yet he makes similar runs/passes.

it doesn't really matter what ratings CMs get, but when the fans complained about VDV, it contributed to the board nearly releasing me from my contract.

the confidence issue is my main gripe, but thats a whole new (cloned) thread...

As long as your team is doing well and you are winning games then I wouldn't worry about it.

Center midfielders seem to be given lower ratings on the game for some reason, unless they score of get an assist. Without these then they are looking at a 7 at best.

Numerous times I'll have midfielders completing say 50 out of 55-60 passes (4 or so being key, 7 out of 8 tackles (2 or so being key), 2 shots out of 2 on target, winning the majority of headers and still only get a 6 or a 7 rating despite me thumping the other team 3-0!!

So they are not nessicarily playing bad I don't think, just poorley rated.
