Default Anyone running FM on Mac

1) how does it run; does it run smoothly / quickly, and
2) do 3rd-party roster updates (kits, logos, etc) work for the Mac

Any help would be appreciated - I'm currently looking at buying a Macbook.

I just have a basic Mac book and FM runs extremely well. I'm not quite sure what you mean about 3rd party roster updates

works perfectly, very fast and smooth, even with multiple leagues playing.

I also don't know what you mean by 3rd party roster updates? You mean unofficial updates?

Thanks for the replies. As for 3rd party updates, I was speaking about roster updates that people other than SI put out that give up-to-date roster changes, etc....

I'm looking at the basic Mac book....anyone have comments about the Mac book outside of FM????

After using PC for a decade the transition was difficult, it took some time to get used to.

Macs are expensive, but they come with a huge amount of software that would cost hundreds extra if you bought a PC, not to mention all the time it would take with all the instalations.

If you are patient I'd strongly reommend mac, but if you want to be able to jump straight in and know exactly what you're doing, then perhaps you should stick with PC.(should be noted that most new PC games are compatable with new macs, or so the guys at the "apple" store told me when I dropped in to buy a new ipod)

Iv only used the official updates but i haven't had any problems. In terms of the Mac in general I think it is amazing, it is so smooth and cool compared to the old PC, whenever i have to go back for work at uni its like going back to the dark ages
