Searched and searched (perhaps not very well) can someone please tell me how long it takes a player to gain EU citizenship whilst on loan at a Turkish feeder club?

I can find info for all other nations except Turkey Dont know why it doesnt tell you within the actual game

I'm afraid I can't really help because I don't quite know, but from my experience of a brief spell at a Turkish side in the game, unless the player is from a Turkic nation (basically, Turkey which I presume they aren't or certain former Soviet states such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan etc) then they will not be allowed to play for a team that isn't in the top division anyway.

Though as Turkey isn't within the EU yet I take it they wouldn't get EU citizenship anyway would they, or is there a special agreement or something?

FM07 says the purpose of the feeder is to avoid work permit restrictions (i.e. to gain permit). I wish it said, in this section, how long a player is required to be there as well and counted this time down for you to see.

Players will not gain Eu citizenship while in Turkey as Turkey is not an EU country.

Even in the world of FM07? Why would it say 'to overcome work permit restrictions' ?

To the best of my knowledge it's 4 years in Turkey.
