"Disappointed about the low collective win bonuses"
Got a bit of an irritating situation happening at the moment.
As per usual, I was asked to assign the end of season incentive bonus based on my squad's final position in the league. This happened July 30th. Due to being in the C/North and looking at likely promotion challenge whilst having a $150k debt, I selected the lowest bonus simply because even if I do get promoted, there is no way the club could stand to take the full $200k monetary hit. As a result, about 2/3 of my regular first teamers and better youth members developed the player reaction stated in the thread title and their morale has been rock-bottom ever since.
It's now September 30th, and I've been on top of the table for 3 or 4 rounds after a nice string of wins; 3 of which were played away from home, with one also being against our fierce rival. It doesn't seem to matter what the players' morale is directly after the post-game talks, their morale simply will not improve. There's even a couple of season-long loans who are afflicted.
There have only been 2 pre-match interviews thus far and the result of these does seem to temporarily override the bonus reaction, but ultimately it returns once the interview effect has worn off.
How long does this bout of moaning generally last? 2 months seems a tad excessive, although since we're on top of the table, it may only serve as a reminder to the squad. I'm anticipating the largest seasonal choke to occur as soon as we lose a game at home or draw against vastly inferior opposition, so this is becoming quite pressing.

"Disappointed about the low collective win bonuses" Post #2
Had this problem too when playing as Northampton as season after getting relegated to League 2. It lasted a whole season (bad morale). Why should I give them a good bonus for going back to a league they should never have left?!!! I don't really like this feature, I prefer not having it and assuming the bean-counters/chairman deals with it.
However, if it is going to stay, it really shouldn't affect morale as much, or for as long as it does
