A friend advised me that there used to be a download for the 2d pitch where depending on the time of year the pitch would change, i.e snow, muddy park etc. Ive looked on Sortitsi but no luck. Is this possible if so does anyone have a link or screenshot?

You can not modify the pitch in FM2006 (or 2005) it is coded into the game and not a graphic - it will change depending on the weather and other factors (team, condition of pitch etc...).

When its raining, wet or muddy you should see a muddy pitch (dark brown/green).
Snow/frost should see a white pitch.
