Hi,

was hoping someone could help me with a problem, Ive tried searching the forum but couldnt find what I was looking for.

Ive edited the expansion capacity so that later in the game I can expand the stadium, however when trying to expand the stadium I get the usual message saying it has been blocked.

Can someone tell me please what I need to edit so I dont get this in the future.

Ok, go into CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db. In there you create a new text document (right-click). You can then call this document anything you like. Open it.

Inside put:

"BOOST_TEAM" "your team" -1 -1 50000

this would keep your team's finances the same, their repuation the same, and change their stadium capacity to 50000. (you can change the 50000).

Then save the file as: anything.edt

Make sure the hardcore fans percentage is 100 and obviously make sure you're playing well.

Also try and increase the minimum, maximum and average capacities for your stadium.

The Min/Max/Avg Capacities are for the team not the stadium.
