I've just started using the FMM editor on 6.0.3 and when I change a player's stats, they chenge in the right way for about 3 days then nearly every single stat drops by 2 or 3 points (eg 20 of the ball goes to 17 off the ball). Do you know why this happens and how I can stop it?
No it isn't that because their CA and PA haven't dropped, just the actual numbers in the 'playing section' (e.g. crossing goes from 3 to -7 for no apparent reason.) Also increasing CA doesn't work because it doesn't make things like pace change. Has anyone else found this and do you know what you can do to stop it?
Stevenhp1987... you're annoying!!!
Mongrel73, the game does that automatically to prevent massive cheating. If you increase CA and PA (and PA should be close to CA), it might just hold high stats, but I've noticed that physical stats may still drop. Try to balance them: Good pace, poor strength, and vice versa...
the thing is, in FM06 when you edit a player to CA/PA = 200 it means he should have an average stat of ~17 so if you edited everything to 20 then his stats will drop over time to fit his CA - this prevents "super players".
Note however that while the max PA/CA that the game generates is limited to the 200 mark, you can use the editor to set the PA/CA to as high as 255 - where (you guessed it) his average stat should be 20.
I tested it on Kenny Cooper and someone else and it stuck, so after changing the stats select save and then go back to the game and save again and it should stick.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that the ingame editor allows to edit a player to CA/PA of 200 only.
I was reffering to FMM by Jpee (you can find it on this forum - ver beta 2.0 for english users).
As for Elby, the answer is similar. The ingame editor will change the ratings to fit the CA when starting a new game, while I was reffering to FMM.
BTW you don't have to start a new game now, just use FMM to make the changes you need, including the players birth date.
Note : the values in realtime editors (like FMM) vary according to the attribute, positions being 1-20, while others -100 to +100.
You can search this forum for precise information or check this post search for olivne post

I did clearly state increase PA and CA... no need to repeat what I said or call me annoying.
The game will drop stats to match that of CA and PA... You cannot have 20 in all areas because it is impossible, end of!
change CA and PA to 300 or 400 then change the physical stats... now you have super player with max stats. it will not drop until the player gets older. but setting the PA and CA to 400 will make the player reputation drop alot and become an obscure player. i like the other trainer by mind compression i can change player physical stats to 127 max and won a game with 50 goals.
