I played, or rather mostly sat on the bench, on my high school's junior varsity team my senior year. (for those of you not familiar with US scholastic athletics high school is basically 14-18 yrs old and the junior varsity is essentially the reserves for the school varsity team)
Hey - I was not that great a player or anything, what can I say. But the team actually was an awesome team and truthfully maybe better than the varsity team which was stuck with a lot of the lesser skilled serniors with some experience at the expense of missing out on some of the very good freshmen and sophmores.
Well... I still have my high school yearbook with a team photo and names laying around, and I though it would be interesting to use the editor to make up a team with those players (add maybe 3 or 4 years to their age and imagine how they would develop given coaching).
I was planning on using the North Virginia Royals (US third division - by the way I am certain the usage there is Northern Virginia not North Virginia - tell the FM folks) as a template for stadium etc, but move them into the English Conference North so they had some promotion life to play in.
I can make the strip colors from memory and even probably get squad numbers off the team photo.
Not sure to what degree I want to boost them. The coach was my US Government teacher at school and a funy guy to boot so maube I give him a good rating and make him assistant manager.
I have never used the editor. How do I proceed?
What would be a good choice of the team to replace in Conference North?
