whenever i get an update and extract the contents to the db folder, then try to start a new game as soon as it starts to make the new game it crashes and says something like serious error?

I use none. All worked well, then I swept four clubs into Spain, Italy, Germany and Denmark and suddenly...crash...

This is a common problem with updates that were made with an unoffical editor. Do you know which editor was used to make the updates?

Instead of making new posts why not just add to the thread where you got the download link, most people posting in that thread will have the same update as you, the problem is probably already been discussed in the thread and will tell you how to fix it!
