Can somebody please explain a possible solution to my dillemma ,you see i had to do a clean reinstall of my game after installing the legends patch wrong and it wudnt start a new game at all but this time i followed every instruction and it still wont start a new game it crashes at Loading Database with the legends update so i have to do another clean reinstall and unless somebody explains it clearly and simply ill never know what to do ive tried the instructions but could everybody please tell me how they got it on :thup:

Oh and by the way if people answered my question instead of slagging me i wouldnt need all these threads (this only applies to some people)

I don't know how to use the legends database but I had that problem. What you have to do is delete the Sports Interactive file in My Documents and the Sports Interactive file in Program Files (don't confuse those 2). Then you use the installation thing on the disk to remove Football Manager from your computer, then you use the same installation program to re-install Football Manager. The Legends patch wont work but your Football Manager will work again

Firstly, 3 posts for 1 question, why?

If you have some patience people will answer your questions.

Download it again, extract the files to C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2006/data/db

When it asks if you want to relace files click on yes to all. Start a new game. If this doesnt work reinstall FM and try again. If it still doesnt work just download a different update
