Most tactics I have seen are for the higher status clubs, need advice on a good tactic for lower league teams.

1)for lower leagues on team instructions drag
creativity ALL the way LEFT

your players will be too stupid to be allowed to think for themselves

2)your allowed 4 all-season loans
and 4 3 month loans twice(i think this is still broke & you can have more than 8 over the season) USE THEM ALL!!, get Prem reserve/youth players, 1 such player for me was my highscorer for the season.

3)specify your BEST ppl for set pieces, the game sometimes makes very strange choices
