My players are constantly playing offsides and being someone who has never even watched a full soccer game it is skewing my idea of what offsides actually is.

The truth is I do know what offsides is and when I am watching the 2d match engine my people get called for offsides many times when they are in fact NOT offside. Also, you would think that would work both ways but the AI is rarely caught offside.

I want to know if anyone knows for sure what to adjust to reduce the tendency of nothing up 10+ offsides a game.

Well I've never really had this problem and I use the short passing tactic so either my players just time their runs well or I'm lucky or it works. And i can tell you now my players runs aren't well timed =D

Lower your forward runs for your strikers to "mixed" or "rarely."
