Need a bit of help chaps, my players nev er seem to put a tackle in. What do i need to adjust to settings to, to make this happen. I sit screaming at the PC as a striker waltz's through my defense and gots a shot off.
When my players try the same the opposition gets a tackle in.

go to tactis, player instruction and put hard tackling on a DMC

How are your creative freedom and closing down settings for defenders?

It could just be that their tackling is poor.

I've pretty much got two defences - one were defenders have got high tackling but pace etc. isn't too good. I use this against sides who play a slow tempo passing game and we need to get a foot in.

When playing against a "long ball" or direct team I use the high pace, anticipation defence who (unfortunately) have a lower tackling rating but cut the ball out better.
