I think we should have a thread about different personality tipologies because can influence team talks and are a useful indicator of player behaviour. Hope we all agree on this
So, i´ll ask if someone can complete all sentences related to players personality and tell about each one particularity. Either way, here i go with few...
Leader (indicates player might be a good captain) Ambitious Determined Professional
...
In most players profile you noticed that for some it says: half-determined or half way ambitious, and so on.
I´ll ask if someone could complete thread with all personality senteces known and if possible explain, in detail, influence of each one.
I can offer an insight having thought about this some time ago, but forgive me if its absolute boll*"@s!
Resilient: more adapt to recovering from injury or a recent dip in form
Light-hearted: Could perhaps mean that player can take more criticism or be left out of the first team without becoming unhappy.
Loyal: fairly self explanatory I would think
Driven: strongly motivated to be successful and improve his game. Possibly a stage further than 'ambitious', a personality trait that describes a desire to succeed rather than the determination to achieve success. If a player is 'driven' or 'ambitious', they could be more difficult to hold on to as they improve if you are a smaller club.
It seems that there are many different things as to what these personalities could mean.
What is the difference between determined and driven? Is determined more short-term i.e. on a match-to-match basis, and driven in terms of the players career?
Is balanced a personality for youth or regen players that haven't found there true selves yet?!
Do personalities change throughout a player's career?
Oh and I am baffled by 'spritited'. Any suggestions?
Myst et al. I have the original personality list from around CM03/04 in one of the magazines. I will dig it out tomorrow and post it. Unless of course someone else beats me to it. Kind regards to all.
From what I can gather there are no really negative personalities ("low determination", whereby a player takes about 2x as long as everyone else to return from injury, seems as bad as it gets). Even Anelka is deemed to be a "balanced" player by the game.
Spirited seems to indicate that the player can handle much pressure and has a fair degree of professionalism and restraints. It's a step up from Jovial.
