It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I have read with interest the varying interpretations of what the players personalties might mean. Until SI give out the SI interpretations we shall all remain with differing definitions.

I e-mailed SI after my last post on this subject but have yet to get a resonse. I also asked for some reaction from the "mods", hoping that they might have some more informed opinions but did not get a response.

I re-iterate, that unless we get proper definitions of these player personalties they will remain quite superflous in relation to putting them into use within the game. The same applies to my post about "opposition instructions". Although I see that about a week after I tried to raise this subject it has now been acknowledged by "Cleon", after a new post today, raising the same questions as myself. Kind regards to all.

I doubt the player personalities actually have in-game effects beyond those of the hidden stats they are based on.

Huh, what questions did I ask?

the personalities should be a reflection of the hidden stats, nothing more.

Cleon, what I meant was that the post of today about the player personalties has been raised again asking the same questions that I did previously. The acknowlegement by yourself was my way of indicating which post I was referring to.

In view of SI publishing a previous list of players personalities, see a previous post of mine, I would disagree that they are part of the hidden attributes. Kind regards.

Hi oescus. There is no doubt that personalities are simply a reflection of hidden mental attributes. It is very easy to test and several people have already done it.

Instead of asking SI you can just check yourself . If you have reason to belive that personality is not a reflection of mental (actually both hidden and non-hidden) attributes, I would love to hear.

Its true, the personalities are just an indication of the players hidden stats nothing more, nothing less.

Why do people always look for something that isn't there? or overcomplicate something so simple?

Go in the editor and look for yourself, I think SI even confirmed this a few years back in GQ. Its fairly simple what it is

Cleon and Ans Gulrik et al. My reasoning? is derived from SI's own definitions. See my post, I think it is about 25 posts above this one. Thanks for your replies, much appreciated.

All light hearted means is he takes things in his stride . It doesn't mean he doesn't care and it will effect the team in anyways.

There should be no confusion at all, all people have to do is look up what the word actually means.

I have a youth player that graduated from my youth system... his personality is Spineless! I checked and his Bravery stats is only 4.

He's worth €3.3M as a striker with good attributes a good young striker should have, but he's afraid of tackles and large defenders!
