Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default What do you do in bad weather?

I am just wondering what tactics to be used when there is bad weather such as gale. I have tried to play a more direct game by changing the passing style to direct but it didn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Keep the passing short. If it's windy, long ball or direct doesn't work.

Very Windy - Shorten passing
Very Wet - Lengthen passing

Although personaly i dont find windy condition have nearly as much affect as wet conditions.

how does temp affect tempo settings

ie: when its cold i play quicker tempo
ie: when its hot i play slower tempo

when its wet i also use slower tempo

just wondering if SI have implemented code for stamina draining heatwaves on high tempo setting

Temperature does affect a player's stamina, so it is wise to lower tempo if it's hot.

As for tempo when wet, tempo should be higher as it needs to be similar to passing, which needs to be increased on a wet pitch.
