Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Attacking mentality away from home

Has anyone had success playing their home formation or attacking tactic away from home.I think instead of inviting pressure on ur self by being deensive it could be better to attack or be on normal mentality.

you want to fustrate opposition and keeep ball or launch quick direct attacks.

would like to hear from anyone on this.

I like to keep my team attacking in away games, even so usually 1-2 ticks less than at home.

The only thing I really change is from short to direct passing and the pace. That makes all the difference. Combined with counter attacking this works really well.

I also keep my wingers on AM positions.... 70% win quota proves me right, no matter what team or league

personally, I use the same formation always, but I tweak team instructions and / or player instructions based on the scout report for the next opposition

what formation do you use fiffafan. Do u mean keeping wingers with arrows to AML/AMR or placing them in AML/AMR position?

By the way do you play wide away from home. I play direct wide and quick at home. Wanna play more mixed but use wingers in 442.

thanks anyway
