My idea now using Fawcett's Formation is to 1st establish what we know arsenal definetly done that season.

This includes definetly:

Short Passing
Closing down
High defensive line


Now for the complicated stuff the creative freedom, tempo and mentality are vital but there are so many theories so any ideas are welcome

Ok well with that tactic what about...

Quick tempo about 75% of bar

Passing short.

Bergkamp target man he plays through ball 100% creative freedom.

Ball to target man into feet.

Pires free role forward runs often but an inside arrow for him?

Henry arrow out to left corner.

Freddie forward arrow.

Edu through ball often long shots.

Viera closing down all over the shop.

Put all that into FM08 and you may get whupped every game though.

I agree closing down and High def line but make sure whoever you have for DC replacements are quick!!! Also sol came forward for any header opportunity.

what about creative Freedom I have got the ljunberg role, bergkamp role working perfectly but the pires and Henry role is struggling

Pires maybe not free role then how about 100% attack lets be honest he couldn't tackle. Forward runs often pass ball to centre. Not wholly acurate but he could swap pos with Henry as henr floated out there. Then in that tactic you could remove Henry's left run arrow and have him on a free role???

With this you would need Adebyor (Henry) to play on left and Rosicky (Pires) up front.

That seems a little bizarre. But maybe worth a try. Would love to see some screen shots mate. I fancy dabbling with these tactics in my save but dont know if ive got right players?

Are you struggling with Fab as Viera, he can't tackle on game can he. However Fab as Edu and Banega as Viera or Gilberto as Viera?

Sorry this is backtracking and creating problems.

Just my Oppinion though probably not right I dont have game in front of me. Good luck mate im signing off will check all this out tomorrow.

the bergkamp role with van persie is working perfect so is the ljungberg role but Adebayor doesnt get enough chances if moved out to the left

Team is working then but if you want henry like irl to go out wide left its not getting goals.

Only thing I could think would work is

Scap adebayor left run and maybe make him zonal mark the opposition Right Back??

Pires/Rosicky to have a diagnal run line to CF position and Ljungberg make runs into box to.

IRL Freddie made runs into box as did bergkamp Pires and Edu threatend mainly from edge of box, would you agree?
