I've got Chester to the Prem so I'm not expecting to win every game but my center halves keep getting the run around (Hobbs and Thicot). I've got a central midfielder supposedly playing defensively and the two center halves are are set to tackle and kick it long, there always seems to be acres of space through the center even if I play a defensive midfielder in the hole?

I'm playing a 4-4-2 with all defenders set to have minimum attacking, kick it and tackle, it just seems that players pass and move around me or run around through the middle, better defenders needed?

Try dropping the MC into DMC to give your defence a bit of protection.
