The effect is too much imo. Text is a bit too basic, this could be alot better man, but practice wil help you improve, cause I cant help you on that effect, I dont veen know how to do it right, lol.

I agree with the above that the smuddge needs to be tonned down a bit but it looks really good in places like around his arms. I think the bg needs a bit of work like a blended render and a bit more colour. Good work but with a few changes it could be a lot better

The effect is a bit "much" lol tone it down a bit and it should be fine

seriously...I think youve worked this effect well...just erase some of the cloud at the front of the render...bit to much their :p
I also think you should get rid of the text completly..would suit the style
