What is your experience from signing, playing and selling this player?

On some games I make an offer of 200k and get him quickly. On another game, he will have a starting value of 500k, and those times, I can never get him, beacase a bidding war always starts and I must step down. Since he is so great, I typically just start another game, hoping to sign him.
In other words, he is such a great signing, I won't continue if I can't sign him!
Over the first season, I always play him in his natural position, OMR. He doesn't score very much, but always delivers a good performance. What is the experience in retraining him for other positions?
The offers I have received are amazing after first season. I always try and hold on to him, but when clubs start offering 4-5m for a 200k signing after less than a year, it is hard to resist.
Finally, I challenge you to name a better signing for this position, for about the same fee.
I had him with ManU for a few years (still have him, but stopped playing)... talented for sure, but did not rock my world. I have never had him reach a reasonable age though either.
For the price he is certainly wonderful. I used to try him as my lone striker for a while, but must say that he was severely lacking consistency in front of goal (then again a lot of players do in 08).
What team do you purchase him with, when you say it is hard to resist 4-5m offers? It sounds like different circumstances than me having him with ManU
He's been great for me.
Plays well on the right wing and up front. He's also quite proffesional,loyal and even for a top side is a very good squad player.
I bought him for less than 400k and after 2 seasons he's worth 4.5mil, so a good investment as well.
I bought him with Bolton and played him on the right wing, swapping position with Diouf. Im now wondering whether he would benefit by going out on loan for a season to get first team football.
He always wants to join AIK in the Swedish league. And with our transfer budget, 4-5 million € is quite hard to resist (that's about the value of the rest of the team).
The problem with letting him go is that it is so hard to find a replacement with the same quality.

he is a must for wigan. he didnt played for my team until my other right winger got injured (ugur yildirim) and the first month the was choosen as the best player of the month
