i am newcastle in first season and i want a top class playmaker does any one know one?

Depends how much money they gave you as a first-time manager.

Van der Vaart may be a little bit too attack minded but you can get him for about 10-12m. There are tons of threads on here discussing world-class players.

Of the others in my experience, I find Bessegio pretty good, if a bit slow. Wijnhalm (spelling?) is available for compensation and defo one for the future. If you have the Italian league loaded there's a 31 year-old MC called Liverani who you can pick up for under 1m.

Makoun is a DM but has all the playmaker attributes.

I could name 10, 12, 15 players but you can browse those fairly quickly on here. They're all the same.

i got aquilani (sp?) from roma in the first season for newcastle for 6 mill. Try going for him, worked very well

don't you have Emre Belozoglu he was really great as a playmaker in my FM 07 game especially with Nuri Sahin playing next to him when he was actually no unjustly underrated with a low PA. Emre looks just about the same as the 07 version so he should do you very good. To get a great future playmaker for cheap just go for Lulinha so you can train him for the future and make Emre tutor as he has some nice moves for playmakers like dictates tempo, etc.
