I am in urgent need of a world class AML for my Arsenal side. Having sold Toure, Rosicky and other players i have the £62m to buy Silva but as its alot of money i am unsure if to persue it or find a cheaper player. I have also signed Capel from Seville as he was only £10m. So basically is Silva worth it?

I signed him for £62m in my Liverpool game and he's been well worth it. But my squad didn't need strengthening anywhere else which is why I could afford to splash the entire budget on one player.

In his second season for me now he has 13 assists and 7 goals in 13 games and an avr. rating of 8.00.

He's definately worth it but wha about Messi? He's left footed and can easily be trined to AML

Personally I hate to pay over-the-odds to sign any player. I think 60M is too much to pay for anyone. Be it Silva, Ronaldo or Messi. But hey, I'm an Arsenal/Wenger fan so its to be expected!

Silva, though, is an amazing player. If you have no qualms about spending big, then get him as he'll go wonders for your team. :thup:

if hes gonna improve your team vastly then the amount is worth it imo, i spent 31mil on Aguero for man city and he is now the backbone of my team, i went a whole season in debt (be it only 3mil tops) but it was worth it by far

I got Silva for £34m at start of season 3, he had it as a min release clause in his contract. Was pondering over spending that much on one player but he had played very well against me in CL games.

Used him either wide left or right in a 4-3-2-1 formation, got 15 goals for me in his first season and doesn't look like stopping this season.

Only in first season and his buy out clause is over £100m, plus whenever i can afford him we wont join me

he is one of a certain few players worth that sort of money, i would do it, you wont need to replace him for a good 10 years
