Just started a game as Lyon, anyway, put in a bid for Aguero, they came back saying give us £27million + Hatem Ben Arfa and you can have him.

Is it worth it? I can afford to pay the extra £6m to just trigger his minimum release fee clause but need to know if Ben Arfa is worth keeping or not!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Put it this way: In a previous game, I bought Ben Arfa off Lyon for 7M only (they were stupid!). 2 seasons later he attracted a lot of interest and bids. He was eventually sold for close to 30M + 50% sell on fee.

I would trigger the release clause. That way you are only paying an extra £6m and dont need to worry about finding a replacement for Arfa.

No way. Keep Ben Afra and spend the cash on other areas or save it.

Go for the release clause option.

Yes it's alot of money for one player, but he's certainly worth it.

Otherwise, spread the money over a few players. There's alot of good young players around with high PA who can be bought cheaply enough.

a few years down the line ben arfa will be world class so i wouldnt let him go for less than £30m.

like others have said, if you want him then activate his release clause
