Default Accrington Stanley

I decided to do a bit of LLM as well, I used to play it quite a lot with CM 97/98 and CM3 but for some reason lost interest, the rules you guys set up here sound challenging so I thought I'd have a go as well.

I chose Accrington Stanley from the Conference, not realizing they were rich (60 K transferbudget!) they have a reasonable team to start of with but instead of the allowed 7500 salaries I pay out now I am only allowed 5500, I wonder what use the Transfer kitty is now managed to buy one player anyway, after releasing a couple of oldtimers making 1500 together.

I can't find any backup D R nor D L, one back for each side is a bit short I feel, so I will retrain one of the D Cs. I also have some kid walking around that could become a D L but I think it will take two years for him to develop into anything of use.

I played two matches so far, The big club Exeter that I drew 2-2 with at home and the bigger club Hereford, that I beat 2-1 at home
now lets hope the boys can improve on their three in a row lost in the tour of Wales when we have our first away match for the league!

Nice going there. Keep in mind though that updates usually are only posted once or maybe twice per season, summarizing quickly the happenings.

Otherwise, welcome, and KUTW.

What he said.

Ops. Hey, Cosmo, this means i don't post correctly? I mean, sometimes it's 10+ posts per season for me? Come on, with all leagues running i can barely pass half a season with some of you gyus deep into 2010+... what? I misdone that? Never meant that. Ops.

My intention was to post once a season I just wanted to inform you of the fact that I started it up, as I played two matches I gave you more info.

Anyways, can I be a total n00b and ask what the flip KUTW is supposed to mean? I can think of some Dutch angles that I wouldn't like to share...

Now that was your second. Be careful!

BTW, KUTW was a mistype (am i right, Cosmo? ) for a KUTGW - keep up the good work. And it supposed to mean exactly that thing.

Note to expert-LLaMas: commie-bloke starts to give advices to newbies. Should rule that

Russian bloke:

a.) That's why I said "usually". Do what you think is right, and if it isn't, I'm sure the regulars will jump in with the flamethrower.

b.) No, I meant KUTW. I liked the Wales-Tour, but I am not sure what to think about those two first games in the league. Crap work usually rules.

Well, since i'm not burnt yet, then it's ok (though, you know, we're a little bit short of napalm here these days... who knows...)

KUTW means 'keep up the work'? Maybe then there might be some KUTCW for hardcore LLaMas? Oh yeah, Wales tour. Something to get used to maybe. This predicts a good season, though. For me good pre-season games never resulted in a good season. So yes, KUTW. And hope it's crap.

Well, that is the first half of the season (I can post now, yes?) I need your help, I am struggling as all my players seem to be extremely injury prone

I started of thinking I might make it to the play-offs, although I lost my first awaymatches I managed nice results at home after eight matches I was in eight spot. Than I had two more injuries to add to the four I already head, my star midfielder and the goalkeeper going out for two months and six weeks respectively. I lost every single match since than and I am now 18th with only 16 points and the teams below me are coming for me!
my midfielder has now come back and immediatly gone out again and the goalkeeper needed physiotherapy and is out for another two months at least. I played three matches with only two substitutes due to the fact I was out of players. I now regret I dumped four players to make the salarycap. with 21 players in the team and on average 4 or 5 of them out I simply cant play how I want. I ended up playing 3 4 3 to compensate for the injured left back.

In short, being a LLM manager is tough! I already ticked the option of resting the players after matchday (which is now on) I took out a lot of weight out of my normally succesful trainingregime and as a result the players don't develop at all.

At least the board has faith in me saying that they are pleased. The fans are on satisfied coming down from pleased. I don't know if I am going to finish the season in a Red shirt tho!
