Welcome young man - as you can see you're under no pressure from us

What's your real name by the way? My real question for you is - a la magazine style, how do you play CM? As an LLaMa (lower league manager) yourself, taking a Conference team or managing Arsenal?

And why aren't you at work struggling to keep your club financially afloat?

andyinkat - ahhhh. I am at work though. I work in IT and therefore have an excuse for being on the internet. It is also a Friday afternoon!

I have to admit that I don't play as lower league manager. It does appeal to me but there is a professional team I support like everyone else and the temptation is too great not to manage them

Proud to be Member No.33

It is the same number that I wore when I played a season of Aussie Rules way back when I could actually run 100m and not be gasping for breath afterwards.

"Craig0 - you don't really get a person in that position at this level. My personal feeling is that is more of an honourary title when you don't want someone to be manager or on the board but you want to show some sort of recognition for the service they have given. You then make up the duties in that role. My opinion of course!"

Is that the answer for my director of football question? If so then what did you do to become Director of Football there?

Craig0 - I'm not a director of Football. I'm a director of a football club! big difference.

Hi redbridge.

Just wanted to persevere a bit on the scout thing:

You said one of your coaches is also head scout, but how many more scouts do you have on your team?

Part or Full time ones?

Where do they scout? Mainly in England or do you send your scouts to other countries as well?

Thanks in advance for your answers

Ah, what I meant to ask was the role of a Director of football at a club, not just a director of football.

I'd be grateful if you could answer my question again, regarding your role.

Great thread!

And welcome redbridge, from across the pond. I've no idea where redbridge is, but GL and I hope to see them in the FM 2005.
