In my experience of the lower echelons of LLM (without tipping) the players are too caRp to give a hoot about their mates. They probably don't have any. They are seldom talented enough to get moody (in CM moodiness tends to be directly proportional to talent).

The fans probably won't think you're a dic (sic, as above). If they do, who cares? - there aren't many of them.

As for "star" players; I'm sure they don't exist.

In conclusion - fine 'em. Fine long, fine short, fine narrow, fine deep. Any negative repercussions can only add to the zest of LLM.

I never fine or even warn anyone. Last time I did it I had a riot on my hands so as long as they are performing on the pitch they can do what they like in training

I barely have to fine, tbh. Mostly I warn for red cards, and I seldom buy players who are a significant risk for multiple dismissals in one season, which is one thing they do have to get their chequebooks out for.

Had signed a guy who, in his previous team, managed to collect 15 yellow and 3 red cards in 25 games. Fits hard in my head, but he did. After ~40 games in his second season at our side he at last got enough yellow cards to miss a game. What's that had happened to him? I wonder...

The most annoying dissmisal we've got is being sent off after three furious attacks on the official because of an offside decision
