Turned out we had a midweek game against local (100 yards up the Street) rivals Dundee on the day I took over.
I had a good rake through the squad, that MC is making a good recovery, btw, should be back in about a month, and decided to give a 15y/o AML and an 18y/o DC their debuts and an 18y/o backup striker a start.
With Scotland's #1 in goal and a completely dispirited Team we trudged out on a wet and windy January night...and beat the arse off them!
4-0 victory, the backup striker scored two and got MoM, the DC got an 8.00 and the AML got a 7.00
We're now 10th in the League, one point above relegation, 4 points behind 9th place after 21 games...and one game in front of everyone else, but the Chairman was pleased with the result.
I'll get on with it now, just had to tell someone and the wife doesn't count
