), you cleverly decide to instruct him to deliver goal kicks to the nearest defender available. The guy does perfectly so except one small detail. Then he shouts at him, takes the ball back and enjoys another targetless clearance that often turns out to be a great start for opposition's attack.
Another one could well be 1a or 7. It's called
1a/7. Cornerism (tm). Nevermind the position of the ball, your players and opposition, the one and the only way to clear the ball is to concede a corner. All tackles are performed near the goal line. If the ball goes out off the opposition your players will do their best to try and get it, which always ends up as a corner. I guess it's just a behaviour of real men.
