I will be using CM 01/02 with my selected league being Italy and all other countries set on background. Since this is my first lot of updates in the forum tell me if there is anything im missing or doing wrong

Well after going to talk to Frank I find myself over in Italy managing Teramo of Serie C2/B :p

The board have given me the objective of gaining a respectable league position which in my opinion is achievable. Though being given no transfer funds i will rely on my scouts finding players who currently have no club.

With only one scout i decided to sign another two(both Italians) to help share the scouting duties. I sent them to scout around Italy for free talent.

I decided not to arrange any friendlies and just use the Serie C Cup Group games as a way of getting the players fit. We were drawn in Group K along with Triestina(C1/A), Sora(C1/B), Alzano(C1/A) and Fermana(C1/B).

While i didnt feel that the cup was anything more than a way of raising the fitness levels of my players and accessing the squad before the season i was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. We just edged out Sora 1-0 away in the first group game before scoring twice against Fermana at home to record a 2-0 win. We won qualification from our group after sneaking a last minute goal away at Alzano to record three victories out of three matches played. Although in our last game complacency crept in and Triestina managed to beat us 2-0 on our own patch.

My scouts managed to find a few players which i signed. A 22 y/o right defender and a 22 y/o striker who both didnt look too bad.

Oh and we are just over 323 thousand euros in debt

All looks good so far, although £300k is hell of a lot of debt to start off with. GL :thup:

Yeh i thought exactly the same thing...i guess Frank just doesnt like me

So into league action and just a outline of the league's promotion and relegation places. Come the end of the season 1st place is automatically promoted while 2nd-5th go into playoffs. 6th-13th are considered mid table while 13th-17th go off into a relegation playoff and 18th is automatic relegation.

Well after 8 games(almost a quarter of the season) we sit proudly at the bottom of the league . We havent done badly by any stretch of the imagination with most games only being lost by the odd goal.

The board told me that they were upset with the recent run of defeats after 5 straight defeats but luckily we managed to win 1-0 against Poggese at home. The board then said they were happy with my performance even though we sit bottom and five points from safety!

In the Serie C Cup we have had better luck playing Catania. The first leg was away and managed to score a vital away goal and leave at 1-1. In the home leg we had the game in the bag dominating and winning 1-0 until Catania came back and scored in the 87th minute from a rare attack. The game went to penalties, after a boring extra time period, and we easily beat our opposition or should i say they beat themselves by missing four out of five penalties. The game was won 3-2 on penalties

Hopefully the next update i wont be sitting on the unemployment trash pile

Not a NASA sized super computer but a Pentium 4 3.2ghz with a gig of ram..so that does the trick Though the NASA computer would be nice :thup:

Anyway the usual happened in the cups to make me agree with you all that 'cups suck arse'. We drew at home to Catanzaro 1-1 before losing out away 2-1 away. This compounded with two suspensions and two three week injuries which didnt help our league position(not that it could get any worse )

Well the invietable happened 20 games into the season with the board giving me an ultamatium. I decided to jump before getting pushed and sat unemployed for a few weeks. I left the club 16th with 4 wins, 3 draws and 13 losses.

My new club is U.E Figueres of Spanish 2nd Division Group B. Their current league position at present when joining them is 12th and three points above the relegation playoff spot.

Well after arriving in Catalunya the board declare their expectations. They want me to battle bravely against relegation. With no transfer funds the scouts again will need to be relied on to bring some talent to the club though at first glance the squad doesnt look to bad.

Well the first few games were pretty inconsistent with 1 win and two losses. With my first few matches under my belt I could start to see which players deserved a place in the team and which didnt.

The season continued on with a few wins, draws and losses but nothing spectacular. With five games to go my assistant manager alerted me to the fact that my star centre forward has just returned from injury. His name had been in most of the other players' profiles where they would comment on him being very influentually and other things to that regard. He is actually the highest valued player in the squad at £250K

The last five games with my now fit striker went really well with five wins notched up. One of the wins was quite strong as we destroyed one of the teams already relegated(Alaves B if i recall rightly) 5-1. While my £250K striker got one or two goals over those five games the team just came together knowing he was up in the forward line hassling the opposition defenders.

So with a max of fifteen points out of fifteen coming from our last five fixtures it really boosted us up the table and we managed to catch and overtake teams and get into 10th position. A pretty good effort considering we were floundering just above the relegation zone when I took over. A successful half a season or so.
