Well the game virtually has no sound but I find the background noise to the 2d screen adds a bit of atmosphere.

Must admit I didnt realise you could turn it off.

I just find there is not enough variety in sound and the realism isn't good enough

I keep the sounds on for the reason that I may be distracted from the game and I hear the cheers of a goal celebration

I keep the sound off out of habit now. I started playing without sound when my son was a baby and my missus threatened to lynch me anytime a goal went in, because it might wake him up. We've since discovered he is capable of sleeping through a smoke detector going off :eek: but old habits and all that...

Try telling that to the missus. You've just expressed my exact opinion I think with our second she might listen to me since she has seen that theory in action now

Of course it's entirely possible she waas just using it as an excuse to get me to turn the sound off on my computer

Sound off for me...but that's for practical reasons, though not one that has to do with a small child, but rather a boss who controls my future.
