It's pretty good, bigpants. I'm a great fan of Stephen King (go on then, Devon... ), and took Wizard and Glass to work, not realising it was the fourth book in the set, but it's a good stand alone story.

Book-wise, I try not to read anything I'm likely to get engrossed in, so I generally avoid fiction.
Music-wise, all of my CDs are next to the computer anyway, so I'll listen to an album depending on how well/badly my team are playing.

Stephen King...

He was awarded an honorary National Book Award for contribution to Literature. It caused quite a stir in the publishing world...well, a little stir at least.

He can be entertaining, which is fine.

His television adaptation of The Kingdom was atrocious. A horrid event.

Last night I listened to Bauhaus. I usually read the paper.

As for Music, it depends on my mood and on how the missus feels...

As for Books , I read plenty during processing times... actual one being a reread of 'Great Expectations' by Dickens ... I know, I know ...

Music what ever I feel like, anything from 80's Marillion, through the Chilli Peppers to the streets and black eye peas

books tend to go for the fantasy of Robert Rankin or Terry P.

one from the bargin bin for all LLM to read:
Marvelous isn't it, by Ron Manager
the funniest football autobiography I've ever had the joy to read

The best LLM book I ever read was "Left Foot in the Grave" by Garry Nelson. Marvelous, to quote Mr. Manager.
