the law states (roughly) you can get 10 days at 90% pay, to be taken as a block within the first 56 days after the birth . The basic is 10 days at about £100 quid minimum

10pm and still playing, though did have a brake to take my other daugher to tumble tots (gym for the under 5's) and run round Toys r Us looking for stuff to keep the kids occupied as Bradford are taking a lot of energy.

I think up here in the cold north of Canada that paternity leave is allowed up to 75% of what maternity leave is, and it's paid by the government, if I'm recalling correctly. But maternity leave is a full year, and not so with paternity, which is pretty sexist if you ask me (I should talk)
