Oh great
Another thing, what exactly are .ddt files?
They're listed as a grey area in the ethics thread thingy.
I take it that this enables players from specific countries?
If so, why not use this rather than small/med/ large database? Gives more control over the exact number/ nationality of player availlable I would think

I think what you're referring to is the "RETAIN_NATION_PLAYERS" file, which loads up the large database files of a specific nation, retaining all the players from, eg., PR China.
The plus side of this is that it enables you to choose players from this Nation in the first season, the huge negative side is that within five seasons all clubs in your chosen league will be teaming with Chinese Nationals (bad example as Work Permits would be a problem, but it's the same with Jockland or Poofland)
I notice you've mentioned the SPL and the EPL in your initial posts. You do realise this is the LLM Forum?

Ahh. But it should be OK if we, say choose "Poofland" and enable all the brit teams (Eire, NIreland, Scotland Wales)

Oh, I mean the scots and pooflandian leagues, of course!
Is "Premier League" some sort of swear word in this forum?

If you enable all Home Nations then you'd be as well playing on large Db
Premier League is far from a swear word in here, it's more like The Holy Grail. It's what we all aspire to reach, but only when we've earned it.

Oops, Ireland isn't British?
Really need to work on my geography
I thought "Brit" is whatever Islands are north of France.
Can't edit it anyway for some reason.
Anyway, if it is possible to enable specific countries I want to enable Malaysia. The work permit should prevent player flooding after 5 years. (Thus, I hope not violating any LLM realism laws)
I really want to manage the Malaysian national team at some point...
Oh, and another thing: How do you use retain_players?

Great Britain is Poofland, Jockland and Sheepland. You then have Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as in the Olympic Team, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The Republic of Ireland (Eire) decided to break away from Britain after some really shÂ*itty treatment from the British Empire, and Poofland in particular, over the past few centuries and is a Country in its own right, and a damned fine one too.
For .edt and .ddt files you want to visit the Editors Hideaway Forum, we don't do that stuff here.

You seem to be confused Ian. New Zealand is part of the Commonwealth, not GB.
