first of all - hello. it's been a long time since i've posted here, mainly due to being exiled upside down in taipan's country. i see a lot of the old faces are still here, and a lot of decent new ones too. i doubt a single one of you will know who i am (boohoo) but anyway, down to business.
i'm playing cm01/02 (i still hate cm4) with croatia, denmark, england, france, germany, greece, holland, italy, portugal, russia, spain and sweden all loaded. frank has sent me to denmark to manage a crappy old team called svendborg forenade boldklubber. with only 17 (mostly) rubbish players on the books and nothing in the bank, the board said they'd just be grateful if i could keep the club from being relegated.
so far 6 free transfers have been brought in, with 1 player leaving the club - a super crappy forward to cork city for 22k.
it's now november and were into the 4 month (:eek break sitting 7th in the league (only 16 in it) after 15 games played. we're finding goals somewhat hard to come by with only 18 recorded so far. only 19 concdeded though.
we went out of the danish cup in the second round to a non - league side, but cups do suck ass though after all so not to worry
i will let you know how the second half of the season goes when i've finished it. until then - onwards and downwards!

just finished the season. final position - 11th. we managed to avoid relegation on the last day of the season, despite losing as glostrup fk also lost, meaning our result was meaningless.
one good bit of news though - my eighth and final signing was a 16 year old swedish f(c) with some pretty decent stats. for a free transfer i couldn't complain at his 5 goals, 1 assist and 2 moms in 9 starts. i think he will be a regular starter next season.
hopefully i'll get some decent tv money in soon to bulk up the squad a bit for next season.
forgot to let you all know about this about two weeks ago. was happily playing along, continuing through pre-season and played seven (i think) games of the new season before there was a windows error. a message popped up in a small box in the centre of the screen asking saying something had gone wrong with cm0102.exe and asked if i wanted to send a report to ms. i've never ever had that problem before. i couldn't bring myself to go back through those months doing it all again so i started a new game with ystads in the swedish second division. i now have auto save set to every week.
highfarm - that's a shame as on cm they have a few alright players (i assume it's totally inaccurate ). one of the young d/dm(c)s even normally goes to man. utd early on in the game.
