Season 13/14 - Just past midway Notts County
We're doing okay (well better than okay, considering) in the League, holding, as we do, a playoff spot for the second quarter of the season.
We've brought in another 5 players (for a total of 8 this season,
way below my average) 4 Scots on frees, FLC, AMF/L, MRC and MR, and we bought (yes, bought) an AMF/R from Halifax for £16k.
He's a guy I had at Porthmadog, a Champions' Cup medal winner who Porthmadog sold to Halifax for £16k once I'd left. He's 31y/o and I hope he's another 2 seasons left in him.
5 players have been sold on for a combined total of £1.8m, but that only just clears our debts and gives us £160k in transfer finds. We'll hold onto that, though.
The FA Cup was exited at round 1 and we're still in the FA Trophy, much against my better efforts
England
All those doubters who questioned the committment of a Scottish manager of Poofland had their tails firmly put between their legs when
WE qualified for the World Cup top of our group and with a P10, W8, D1, L1, Gf29, Ga5, Pts25 record.
The last three games saw wins against Poland(A)2-1, Kazakhstan(H)3-0 and Israel(H)5-0 easing us to the top of the group above Sweden.
We can't escape those crazy Swedes, though, as we've drawn them, Italy and Romania in the Group Section.
Plymouth's Mr Free Role has P10, G4, Ass3, MoM3, Av7.69 in his En-ger-land career.
