i took over southend after 20 games in the season and they were placed 21st.. i brought in two loan deals whihc were bugs bunny and daffy duck, they done well with elmer fudd and scored lots and i found my self lying just behind the playoffs.

i am though now 1.6 million in debt and with all my players leaving on bosman. i will be left with a poor squad with no one to bring in!

my board are pleased with me but this wage situation brings my debt worser by the minute should i risk releasing my players on a free now and face the possibility of not reaching playoffs?
